Another branch is being installed

Altho the principal headquarters of
the AVest Coast Finance company are
in Portland, It Is stated that during

Medford office.. .
'Our company Is a personal service
corporation," said Mr. Johnson, in. an
nouncing his plans. "Our business Is
that of financing Industrial enter
prises thru the sale of bonds or other
securities. We are more Interested In
the development of natural resources
than in any other line of endeavor
and we see a busy period nhead of um
in southern Oregon, with Its abundant
opportunities for the development of
its Irrigation, tiipbor, mining and
other vast resources. Wo feel confi
dent of bringing considerable outside
capital Into southern Oregon this year
for the simple reason that the natural
facilities are hero to attract Invest
ment. We are not anticipating a
"boom" here; just a sound, substantial
growth and development. After a
year's investigation, wo are especially
Interested in the development of the
mineral resources of southwestern
Oregon, for we are confident this dis
trict will soon boeomo one of tho na
tion's biggest producers of gold, cop

the development opportunities here
