arEDFOTtn matt; tribune, MEDFOTuyoKKnoy. Thursday, ffbruaby 1 1, 1024 BELIEVED TO BE S. Accordng to recent reports on the still unsolved .Siskiyou train tragedy the railroad's losses In money, in the Sisklyous tunnel murders and at tempted train robbery of October 11, last, will approximate $6000. It Is not known whether the money was stolen by the bandits, or burned In the mall car, but the tendency is to credit the former theory. The D'Aiitremont brothers of EuKeue, Oregon, were In dicted in the Jackson county circuit court, and the federal court, as the bandits. It Is also said that Paul D'Aiitre mont, father' or ' the tlireo accused youths, after steadily maintaining their innocence for months,, now "believes them guilty." Authorities now be lieve the D'Autremont boys are now in South America. ! Investigations Immediately follow ing the robbery showed that they had written letters to steamship compa nies, seeking information relative to sailing dates' of vessels to foreign lands. O. A. C.
