' The conference committee con fronted with vigorous division of opin ion over endorsement of pending billn to provide government funds to help wheat and other farmers to diversify their production and to establish an export corporation, took no action on legislative measures, but the commit tee instructed to present the report to thai president decided to submit a separate recommendation of lis own that bills be enacted. The functions of the corporation were not defined, being left for it3 incorporators to determine, but Kecre- The high school began its examina tions today. Every pupil is to be ex amined in every subject. The new semester will begin next Monday. About 30 to 35 pupils of the grade schools will be promoted into the high school and a number of out of town grade school students will also enter.
