Hagenbarth declared In an address before the annual convention of the National Wool Growers asso ciation here today. "With efficient and conservative management the wool grower, will, In the next two or three years, be able to rolleve himself of dot and begin the accumulation of a turplus with which to absorb the next shock to the Industry," he said. Dealing with the tariff Mr. Hagen barth assorted the "reduction or de struction of the tnriff does not seem to be as Imminent during the presidential year as we have been accustomed to." Mr. Hagenbarth said the National Wool Growers' association had been active in promoting and assisting the western tariff association and urged continued support. The wool grower president declared financing plans of congress a failure and gave these two reasons: "First lack of education and under standing by the grower and his finan cing advisers, and second, the red tape and cumbersome and sometimes unreasonable restrictions that sur round the administration of the law." Cooperative marketing and organ ization were declared by Mr. Hagen barth to be the two major problems which now face Bheep raisers and he characterized as un-American the plan of the department of agriculture to commercialize the grazing facilities of th national forests. . Tom Swem, Seely Hall and Emerson Mer rick, assisted by a corps of of work men, have been busily engaged in putting on the finishing touches on tho already beautiful hall so that it will bo a fitting setting for colorful costumes which will be worn by the masquoraders tomorrow evening.
