did persistently continue traveling,
searching, and experimenting in the
midst of Innumerable oil derricks, wet
and dry, small and big pumping and
gusher oil wells.
And that, the undersigned discovered
that no instrument or machine or ma
chines then in use could absolutely be
relied U(xn to be 100 per cent accurate
at all times.
And that, the . undersigned hereby
positively certify that only within the
last eighteen months have they really
succeeded In discovering and perfect
ing a scientific method for locating oil,
gas and mineral, and scientifically dif
ferentiating between the one or the

And that, In literally thousands of
tests made amongst literally thou
sands ot derricks In most of the great
oilfields In America, said method has
proven 100 per cent- correct and sci
entifically accurate as to where oil,
gas, and minerals could or could not
be discovered In paying Quantities.
And that, the undersigned positively
ptate that they can be taken to any
oil field or oil derrick anywhere In the
world and without any previous know
ledge of the same, correctly tell
whether or not it Is on an oil structure,'
oil vein, or oil pool, and whether or
not it Ib at that time a paying oil well
or whether or not it can ever become,
a commercial producer. i .

tions have been discovered ln large
quantities, showing that - even these
highest oil domes were once the ocean
bed and have been pushed up by In
ternal gas pressure, caused by said oil
.until these shells have been shoved
to the very top of said domes.
And that, as far as we have drilled
the oil well at Eugene, we have passed
through the Oligocene sea formation,
the marine and Miocene shales and
shells, the regular oil crystals, the
green. and blue oil shale with some
regular copper showings, and have
already passed through 400 feet of par
affine wax red bed oil shale and hnve
already pierced four indicative oil
Bands carrying a sufficient amount of
high grade paraffine Petroleum to ab
solutely tell the story that there must
be. a great body .and pool of live oil
nearby underneath the same with suf
ficient gas pressure to force so much
of It bo high ip lnto said oil dome.
And that, as far as the well haB been
drilled at Cottage Grove, or down to
a depth of about 400 feet, the same
formations and Indications have been
encountered, showing that we are on
the same or Blmilar oil formation struc

And that, Every formation of every
kind and nature. Including the hard
and deep oapplngs through which we
have passed, all Indicate and give the
best possible assurance of the certain
ty of striking high grade- oil in pay
ing quantities in the very near future,
yes, almost at any unexpected hour. ..
: And that, the . general Geological
typography of Willamette . Valley. . In
closed as It is between the Coast
Range and the Cascades with Its many
unmentioned Geological earmarks of a
coming oil field are so manifest that
at least thirty oil companies are now
operating or beginning operations In
drilling for oil In the State of Oregon,
most of which are at work within
these mountain ranges, all of. which
have .been encouraged and advised by
the best, possible Geologists and Geol
ogical authorities obtainable before
they thus began spending such large

tural College, and Robert Campbell,
Geologist of national reputation, state
that same geological conditions exlHt
here as are found in oil-producing
fields." .
D. C. Livingston Bays: "Oil may
be discovered at any time In Oregon."
Mr. Campbell says: "In my career
of over thirty years as a geologist, I
have examined many proven oil fields
of the world. The same geological
conditions existing In Oregon are pro
ducing oil In other places. Why not
In Oregon?" ' i i

ago there were but three or four oil
operations under way . -. ac
cording to the statements made by
.Geologists who have examined the ter
ritory there are indications that there

pected, will be tapped by the wells now
being drilled." These companies have
all ben encouraged by Geologists.

those who know where they are.
THE PENSYLVANIA PACIFIC OIL
COMPANY, with headquarters in Pitta
burg, Pa., a powerful organization with
strong and responsible men constitut
ing Its board of managers, has recent
ly Issued a printed statement in which
they declare: i
. "We believe the Pacific Northwest
Is destined to become the greatest oil
and gas field ever developed, accord
ing to the opinion and written state
ments made by experienced oil and
gas men, as well as high-class geologi
cal authorities. The . eyes of oildom
are now centered upon this part of
the country, and it is an open secret
that very extensive development work
will be under vay In the near future.
Banking syndicates, representing pow
erful corporations . of oil producers,
have been negotiating for largo blocks
of leoRes, and we have been ap
proached by a representative of a
prominent New York banking firm to
turn over 1,500,000 acres of leases for
their clients." In another statement,
also Issued by this company, they stale
that:
"Two prominent geologists have
stated over their signatures: 'No oil
field In the world could be predicted
with greater certainty until actual pro
ducing wells have been brought in. The
extent of the field also places It as
probably one of the very greatest In
the whole country.'"'
A prominent oil expert, and head
driller, who has hnd twenty-four years
of experience ln the oil fields, has stat
ed In a letter written to Dr; David Eu
gene Olson, that:
, "From what I have seen of', the
known oll-bearlng shales and anti
clines and slnclines, together with the
general topography of the Willamette
Valley, anyone is amply justified in
drilling for oil here." . .
In a letter written to David Eugene
Olson, dated June 22, 1923, W. A. Sage,
of San Francisco, an experienced oil
operator, certifies that:
"The lands held under lease by the
Guaranty Oil Company near Eugene
have been examined by my expert, Mr.
Howard A. Hurlburt, as to their oil con
tents, and he pronounces them. In his
opinion, good for very productive
wells, and predicts that the well at
Eugene will come in with over 1000
barrels a day of the very highest grav
ity of oil."
Robert F.. Campbell, Geologist and
a graduate from the best ; American
technical schools and alno from the
mineralogy and paleontology, and ge
ology, at Edinburgh University, with
thirty-two years' experience In the oil
fields ln a letter dated Sept.. 1, 1928.
declares:"
"Oregon Is fortunate In more ways
than one by reason of activities at Eu
gene. I might write a lengthy techni
cal report as to the period of time In
which the uplift occurred, .name the
different formations exposed, tell of
the different kinds of petroleum struc
tures, and enter Into the study of pale
ontology, and give the analysis of the
different sands exposed. I might class
ify the fossil life, and determine the
age. But suffice It to say that the
formations which have already , been
drilled through show the possibilities
for the discovery of oil In Oregon."
We also have in oar possession
maps issued by the Geological Depart
ment of Washington. D. C, where
these domes, anticlines, slnclines,
monoclines, and quadrangles, and
geological structures can be clearly
seen, thus scientifically . mapped out
and outlined. We are not therefore
surprised that the Geological report Is

$100 a share, par value for cash, or Its
equivalent In good notes, payable with
in ninety days.
And that, snld W. A. Sage and Olson
Bros, have placed upon said certifi
cates a written and signed guarantee
which binds all their assets, resources
and estates, which should, from a con
servative estimate, be worth at least
1 .000.000.00; to within two years from
the date of said certificate or certifi
cates, refund lo any holder of said
Guaranty Oil Co. stock shares certifi
cates, the total amount of Investment
represented by tho same, with eight
per cent interest from the date of snld
certificates, If for any reason the hold
er thereof should not within said time
be satisfied with said investment. -

only a few months since the Guaranty
Oil Company was organized and incor
porated, the following definite .things
have been accomplished:
. First: Six thousand acros of scien
tifically selected and most valuable oil
land leases bare been formed Into a
Guaranty Oil Company Drilling Block.
Second: About $100,000.00 worth of
standard oil well drilling machinery
with full equipment has been assem
bled and established In two standard
one hundred foot derricks on Bald land.
Third: The oil well at Cottage
Grove has been drilled down to about
400 feet in only seven weeks and the
Eugene well la now nearlng the 1,000
foot mark.
Fourth: Larger drilling equipment
has recently been purchased as neces
Bary for the deeper drilling which will
enable Uie drillers to, from now on,
proceod with great rapidity.
Fifth! Over three hundred and fifty
certificate holders have been enlisted
as friends and real helpers who have
so far enabled the Guaranty Oil Co., of
Oregon to promptly iay for all of the
above operations and equipment. ,
And that, so far all ot the above op
erations have been successfully .car
ried on without $1.00 of salary being
paid to any of its officers or directors
for any work done ln such capacity.
And that, it is the solemn purpose
ot the Directors and officers of Bald
Guaranty Oil Co., to honestly and ef
ficiently push Raid drilling operations
to a speedy nnd complete consumma
tion. And that, the officers ami directors
as sincere men, having a good name-

oil fields, oil land near where oil wells
have been brought in, have become
worth and easily sold for frtm tea;
twenty, fifty to one hundred thousand

had no desire to In any way aid or help

looking at this matter purely from an

ficult for them to find any business In

drilled, several of which are now near

And that: A large 2,000 barrel gush
er has recently been brought In adjoin
ing said holdings on one of the same
structures upon which said wells are
being drilled proving up the value of
Bald properties which should In the
near future bring millions in return.
And that: They also own and con
trol large Interests In five oil wells
being drilled on thousands of acres of
most valuable oil land In the State of
Texas, upon which a 40,000,000 gasser
has recently boen brought In, which
when gotten under complete control
nnd on the market, should be worth at
least $1,000,000.00.
And that, they also own and . con
trol large Interests in thousands of
acres in the . State of Wyoming on
which three oil wells are now being
drilled, one of which Is almost com-
pleted. .
And that. In all of the above-men
tioned wells every Indication goes to
show that they all stand every chance
to come In large and paying producers.
And that, they also own and control
over 50.000 acres of leases In the State
of Oregon, which with what interest
