This year 2C3 marriage licenses have been issued, and last year 250 loving hearts were made one, an in crease of 13. It may Interest the su perstitious to know that the record book Is numbered 13. In the, same period 74 couples made a fizzle of their matrimonial venture and procured decrees. In 1922, 59 pairs walked the same road, a de crease of 15. The divorces were granted mostly upon grounds of desertion, non-support. Incompatibility of temperament, and cruelty. Several of the divorces were granted on failure of the de fendant to appear.
