' The English V class' of the Talent high school aro publishing a pam phlet in the form of an unnual. This is a Christmas edition nnd will be a representative of their literary talent. After It Is completed It will bo put on file in the library as a souvenir. TOLO HAPPENINGS A' Hallowe'en party given by the Community . Club Saturday evening, proved to be a great success. The rooms were profusely decorated with cornstalks, ghostly looking jack-o'-lanterns, black cats,, bats and witches. The booths were cleverly made from cornstalks and autumn leaves. The guests were greeted by ghosts' and ushered into the room where ghoBt stories were being told. Games were played until a late hour. The "flBhlng pond" was also a great attraction. Cider, candy, grapes and supper were sold for the benefit of. the school.. Mrs. John Higlnbotham and Mrs. George March spent a pleasant after noon with Mrs! Roy Ilchardson at her home at Gold Ray Dam, Wednesday afternoon. Dainty refreshments were served. . Miss Thelnm Beoson has been sb cured to assist Miss Florence Lawson In teaching the grades of the Tolo school.
