Last night a young woman and a
whole flock of young men were creat
ing a disturbance in varlouB parts of
town. Residents sent out calls for
the police and finally nine boys, whose
ages ranged from 16 to 18 years were
apprehended. The girl was said to
be somewhat the worse for wear be
cause of an over-indulgence In the
moonshine of the bottled variety. This
morning the girl. was assessed a flue
of 860 In police court and this after
noon the nine boys. were, each fined
110 for disorderly conduct. The dri
ver's license was taken away from the

the Crater Natiopal Forest offices
here that the forestry office had final
ly succeeded In getting the road open
to Lake of the Woods from the Klam
ath side, but that It would be probably
two weeks yet before the road to the
lake would be open from this side of
