well known baritone singer, was seized
with an acute attack of appendicitis
at hli home, 145 North Ivy street yes-,
terday afternoon, and was ruBhed to
the .Sacred Heart hospital where an
emergency operation was performed
on him about 6 p. m. His condition )b
reported today as still serious, but
that he was doing as well as could be

Falls to plan a strike In the lumber
