ton, secretary of the Oregon Humane
society, who has Just returned from a
trip Into southern Oregon, brought
back the Information1 that a wave of
dog poisoning is rampant throughout
the state. "At a meeting of the cham
ber of commerce In Ashland," said
Mrs. Swanton, "I naked how many had
had their dogs poiBoned. Imagine my
surprise when I saw twenty-six hands
