Indiana, May 26, 1S59, and died at his home near Modford,- February 20, at the age of 64 vears. 9 months. Mr. Austin came with his family from Iowa to Oregon by team, start ing In 1908, and landing in Jackson county in 1909, where ho has since resided.. Besides his wife, ho leaves three sons and two daughters, Lament and Clara Austin of -Michigan; Arthur B.,i of Bend, Ore.; Grace Kurzz and: Owen Austin, both at home.
