BRINGING I: WELL -WHAT HAVE YOU ,OT-THAT lb WD TO EAT i 7? :?2J 1 i' A SECOND SIK! -CCARPENTIER GO -i SEEMS CERTAIN PARIS, Dec. 1 1 A second Cnrpen-tler-SIki fight seems to bo a certainty according to Le. Journal, which polntH out that President llosseau of the boxing federation is inclined to bo. clement toward the Senegalese, ''I will box Siki under any con dition at a dato to be fixed upon ray return to Paris this evennig," Ciir pentier telegraphed Lo Journal from Brighton, England, last night. Please say that to beat Siki would he the greatest Joy of my life, the telegram said. It added that Georges was to get the opinion of surgeons as to the condition of his hands which were Injured in his bout with Siki. A report Is current that Siki has disappeared, but neither his friends or the police Rcem unduly alarmed. The newspapers suggest that ho has been spirited away from the clutches of interviewers. Siki offered today to deny in per ' osn that he had committed suicide ( or that ho had been thrown into the Eelne, as had been widely reported. Siki was limping painfully In his right leg as he left his suburban home and walked to the city gate, where he entered an automobile and disappeared.. He avoided any expla-' nation of the cause of his limp, . which apparently accounted for rc- ports that he had been thrown into the river. - The Senegalese was absent yester day and today from his usual hauts in 'the neighborhood of the Avenue Orleans. His wife explained that he stayed hoir.e Sunday to play with his dog. PORTLAND, Ore.,- Dec. 1 1. Chas.
