NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN. That
sealed bids will be received by the
Board until Tuesday, January 2, 1923,
nt ten o'clock a. m. at the office of the
Board of Directors of the GOLD HILL
IRRIGATION DISTRICT, within the
boundaries of said district, in Jackson
County, Oregon, ror the purchase of
bonds in the sum of ten thousand dol
lars ($10,000.00), voted and authorized
November 16, 1921, of Gold Hill Irriga
tion District, Jackson County, Oregon,
(Said bonds being in addition to the
sum of eighty-five thousand dollars
($85,000.00) in bonds previously auth
orized and Bold). Said bonds are num
bered consecutively, commencing with
number one and following in numer
ical order, mature serially, in annual
amounts, so as to be approximate with
principal and interest, and shall be
payable in Gold Coin of the United
States; -said bonds will be dated Janu
ary 1, 1923, and bear interest at six
per cent payable semi-annually.

otherwise plead thereto,- within said
time, for want thereof the plaintiff
will apply to the Court for the relief
demanded and prayed for in the com
plaint, succinctly stated as follows,
to-wit:
For a decree of the Court requiring
the defendants, and each of them, to
set forth the nature of their claims
in and to the following described pro
perty, situated in the County of Jack-son-and
State of Oregon, to-wit:
Commencing at a point from which
the Southeast corner of Donation Land
Claim number 91 in Township 37
South of Range 2 West of the Willam
ette Meridian bears East 1.25 chains,
and running thence West 13.00 chains;
thence North 8.30 chains to the County
Road; thence South 57 degrees East
along the County Road 16.46 chains to
the place of commencing, containing
5.39 acres of land.
And that all adverse claims to said
premises may be determined by decree
of this Court:
That by said decree it be declared
and adjudged that plaintiff is the
owner in fee of said premises; that Its
title be quieted and declared good and
valid; and that the defendants, and
each of them, be adjudged and decreed
to have no estate or Interest whatever
in or to said premises, or any part
thereof;' . 1 , ,
That said defendants, and each or
them, be forever enjoined and de
barred from asserting any claim what
ever in or to said premises adverse to
the plaintiff.

Medford Mail Tribune, by order of
Honorable F. M. Calkins, Judge of the
above entitled Court, duly inado and
entered on the 8th day of December,

Notice of Sheriff's Sale
By virtue of an execution on Fore
closure duly issued out of and under
the seal of the Circuit Court of the
State of Oregon, in and fof the County
of Jackson, to me directed and dated
on the 30th day of September, 1922, in
a certain action therein, wherein W.
L. Sullivan, as plaintiff, recovered
judgment against John W. Adklson et
al, the defendant, for the sum of Two
Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirty
three and eight one-hundredths
($2933.08) Dollars which sum is to
draw and bear interest at the rate of
Bix per cent per annum from October
, 1922; and the further sum of
Thirty-one and 20-100 ($31.20) Dollars,
as Costs, which judgment was enrolled
and docketed in the Clerk's office of
said Court in said County on the 30tb
day of September, 1922.
Notice Is hereby given that, pursuant
to the terms of said execution, I will
on the Sixteenth day of December,
1922, at the front door of the Court
house in the City of Jacksonville, in
Jackson County, Oregon, at 10 o'clock
a. m., offer for sale and will sell at
public auction for cash to the highest
bidder, to satisfy said judgment, to
gether with the costs of this sale, sub
ject to redemption as provided by law,
all of the right, title and interest that
the said defendant John W. Adklson
et al had on the 30th day of Septem
