Bullish demonstration in special stocks which sent nearly a down issues to new high lovols for the year, featured to day's relatively cjuiet stock market session. Liggett and Myers was pushed' up': 8 points to a new high mark while' American Tobacco, Con solidated Gas, National Lead, North Americans Eastman Kodak, Conti nental Can and Lima Locomotive established peak prices at gains of 1 to 6 points. Rail f ha res were under heavy pres sure in the early dealings, declines of one' to' two points taking place in St. Paul common and preferred New York,' Chicago and St. Louis, Colo rado and Southern, Illinois Central Chicago and Northwestern, Jersey Central; Lehigh Valley and Atlantic Coast line. Subsequently the list mndo a good recovery in response to nn active inquiry for Mexican Petro leum, United States Steel, Stude-bakor,- Baldwin and special stocks, which were subject to pool opera tions.
