Chaney, field man for the Jackson County Farm Bureau of the Jackson County Fair association will hold a number of meetings in the vicin ity assisted by C. M. McAllstor, field man of the Portland Union Stock yards. These meetings will start with one Thursday, August 17th at Valley View. On the 18th at the Applegate community hall, and on Monday, the 21st, there is a meeting at Griffin creek. Six or seven other meetings are being planned but the dates have not yet been set. At each of these community meetings motion picture machines will illustrate the lecture. The meetings are for the purpose of interesting the people in exhibits at the fair, exhibits for individuals and for the community. WEDDING BELLS Wedding bells rang at the home of John S.
