tor.. JlcCumber's defeat was generally expected and even Townley
does not claim credit for Frazier's plurality. As far as Xon-l'artisan-sbip'in
North Dakota is concerned this result will have no effect
whatever.
This is reassuring to the rest of the country. The only regret is
that North Dakota should have required such a costly experience to
learn such an elementary lesson.
