On the evening of July 3rd, Walter Miller of Los Angeles, recognized champion middleweight wrestler of the world, will risk his title against Ralph Hand of Gold Hill. Hand and Miller wrestled more than a year ago, and in this match Miller had a shade the best of It. But with the experience that Ralph has gained in the past year, through wrestling with Ted Thye, Tom Ray and other topnotch wrestlers, he should have an excellent chance of winning from Miller on July 3rd. Ru mors of revolutionary activities in bower California have been revived with the receipt here of unofficial re ports that within the last two weeks 21 men hnvo met death In nnd nround Mexlcull, just across the in ternational boundary, the capital of the northern district of Mexican territory. i American authorities here today ! were still endeavoring to identify the body of one of eiRht men said to have been killed in a battle of sa revolutionary nut ure more than two miles east of Mexicull Monday night. This body apparently had been drag ged across tho line, as it was found in an Irrigation ditch on the Ameil- j can side. Seven other bodies were sW jrfound on the Mexican side. All were Mexicans. American ranchers near the scene reported they had heard firing throughout Mondny night. In addition to the eight deaths of Monday, thirteen others have been unofficially reported recently. These are said ,to have been executions of alleged radlcnls and revolutionists. As to this, however, there has been no official statement from the Mexi can authorities.
