The Jackson county delegation of ooy representing club work, who have been in Corvnllls attending the boys' and girls' summer school, re turned Monday night. The boj-s represent calf, rabbrt and poultry clubB nnd all have a renewed interest ' in club. work. They are prepared to make a full report to the other members of their clubs and urge all the club members to finish the' project they are in and make ex hibits in fairs with a view to winning a trip of this nature next summer. The boys are all strong for it and eay . that they are going to have a group from this county next year that will take a whole floor in the dormitory to accommodate, includ ing enough boys to have a baseball team from this county. In the stock judging contest,, where eight classes of animuls were judged, John Bohnert of Central Point was tied for second place. This was con sidered very good, as there were 125 contestants. ' The county club leader, Mr. Moss, wants to. enlist the support of nil of the parents of. club members in keep ing ,tho interest of the boys and girls in their project and bring about as nearly a hundred per cent comple tion as is possible. Mr. Moss suggests that ail clubs should havo'iirepri'sentntive or two at this summer school"; the value of which is too great to' overlook. Wm. Sproule, president of the Southern Pneific lines in a widely circulated folder snys, "The public is so widely interested in the present discussions of the Southern Pacific system as it now exists, in contrast with what may happen to it under the recent decision of the supreme court of the United States, that it seems proper for me to submit to our customers, who are the shipping and traveling public, some leading facts in the situation with which they, as well as this company are confronted." It is these facts which President Sproulo mentions that will be pre sented at the forum of the Medford Chamber of Commerce tomorrow noon; by J. H.
