NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the semi-annual instal
ment (one twentieth) and interest ' on paving, sewer and
wateimain assessments upon all properties for which applica
tion was made to extend time of payment, will be due and pay
able at the office of the city treasurer June 1,1922, and will be
delinquent after thirty (30) days from said date and shall bear
a penalty of five per cent (5,) upon the amount of such de
linquency. Thirty days after such delinquency the property will be
advertised and sold for the amount of such delinquency, to
gether with penalties and costs of such sale in accordance with
Bection 148 of the City' Charter.

dispute which occurred shortly before

Mrs. p. D. Morris Is boliovod to have
been fatally wounded and Kd Morris,
who started the shootinR, is sufferlnn
from two bullet wounds, one inflicted
by himself and the other said to hare
been Inflicted by George, another
brother. George also was wounded In
the head but not seriously.
According to the officers Ed, after
demanding a settlement from P. P.
Morris, who was sitting on tho porch
at the ranch house, opened fit with a
38 caliber revolver after his brother
said he was not financially able to
make a division. Then, without warn
ing, he fired three shots at Mrs. Morris
who was nearby, inflicting one wound
In the breast and two In the arms.
George, who heard the shots fired, ran
to the house and is said to hare been
greeted with a bullet, which entered
his head. ' He then entered the house
to get his revolver. Meanwhile Ed had
also entered the house and seized a
shotgun. Officers said George fired
one shot at Ed, wounding him. and the
latter fell over on the bed and fired a
shot Into his own head with a revolver.
His condition Is said to be serious. .
The thre brothri lived together on
the ranch.

sociated Press.) A crater two hundred
feet across waa blown out early today
at the Wild Murphy gas well, ten miles
north of Eldorado and the gaa from It
and all other craters in the vicinity
