The employes of the local branch of the Standard Oil company entered into a wager last month with the employes of the Ashland and Grants Pass branches that the Medford branch would sell more gasoline scrip books than the other two branches combined. The wager was lost by a very tew books last month and the Medford branch is now under obligation to set the other two branches and themselves up to a large banquet some time in the near future. The Medford boys. hpwever, are showing that they are not quitters and have duplicated the wager for the same stake this month.
