postponement of the Genoa .economio
conference until April 10 was reach
ed by Premier Polnoare of France and
Prime Minister I.loyd George of

today. The conference originally was
called to. meet March 8.

Lloyd George of Great Britain intend
ed to propose at the Genoa conference
a ten-year truce In Kurope to afford
opportunity for reconstruction. It
was stated, however, that the British
government had not suggested any
plan of this character to France.
