There havo been dally eruptions of gas, the one Thursday being of greater force tnan any proceeding and drove ma terial tin over 300 feet in the. casing. This is now being cleaned out and it is expected will be completed to day. Tho showing of oil is by far greater than a week ago. It has been estimated that the bailings are fully one-fifth oil. Work will be carried on tomorrow Sunday. Destroyer Saved. NEW YORK, Dec. 17. The United States destroyer DeLong which went ai-horo in a dense fog near Half Moon bay, south of here December 1, was floated on high tide today. The ex tent of the damage she suffered was not determined today.
