The Ashland Tidings of Tuesday contains the following account: "The body of Mrs. M. E, Ciray, woll known Ashland woman who was drowned June 7 in u Montana moun tain stream, has been recovered ac cording to word received - here by Charles H. IMefCQ of the local Ford agency. The body will be shipped to Brooklyn, N. Y., the birthplace of Mrs. Gray for burial In the family plot at that place. 'Mrs. Gray, who left here on. a motoring trip the latter part of My in; company with Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Lldstrom of Ibis city, was drowned In a mountain stream near I'hillpsburg, Mont., while c running on a narrow foot-bridge. All efforts to save Mrs. Gray were futile, owing to the swift ness of the stream. "Mr. and Mrs. 1 'tortus were old-time friends of Mrs. tiray and were the first to receive word of her death." PORTLAND, Ore., June 22. Elias M. Zlmniermun, of the crew of the missing tug Conestoga, is a son of Mrs. M. Seattle loenlti of the Marine Engineers Beneficial' association has accepted the new wage scale and working agreement reached recently by national officers of the association and the shipping board, it was announced today when representatives of the San Francisco, Portland, Astoria, Ore., and Seattle locals met to discuss the agreement. Following the announcement of the Seattle local, representatives of the other organizations present begun de bate on a proposal to. accept the agreement "under protest." "WW SAN FRANCISCO. June 22. Hale and daugh ter Ruth visited with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hutchinson Sunday. . There was a school meeting at the Rogue River school Monday afternoon Will McDonald was re-elected on the school board, Mrs. 8. W. Hutchinson is chairman of the board this year, the third member being Oscar Stewart. Those present were Messrs. Will, Nor man, Emerson and Fred McDonald. Mr. and Mrs. S. W.
