Last Saturday evening .Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dean entertained a large party of friends in honor of their 25th wed ding anniversary. Frank Dean is iU home from O. A. C. for the summer vacation. Richard Law is working on a ranch near Table Rock. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Hauri and family old residents of this district hut now of Oakland, Cal., have been here the past week Visiting relatives In Med ford and calling on old friends here. The Parent-Teachers circle held their last meeting on June 4th. It was well attended and all thoroughly en joyed tho interesting tail; given by Mrs. Van Sant. The circle has never been strong enough to affiliate witlt tho stalo organization so decided to continue lo do their bit under a more appropriate name. They will meet on tho first Thursday in September at the Willow Springs Thursday club The men of the neighborhood have very kiniUy offered to entertain' the club and their friends at a picnic, on July 4th. Tho committee met last Sun day afternoon and as soon as a good picnic grounds can be selected the other arrangements will ho made. Mr. West, who owns a fine tract of garden land In north Talent, returned from a trip into Klamath county, Sun day. Mr. West had gone out to his ranch in that part of the state for his health'.
