report Monday ovonlng and havo de
veloped no little rivalry over the
amounts brought In. The two teams
of business girls so far are In the lead

In Justice Taylor's court yesterday
Jack Mayham of Kagle Point pleaded
guilty to boing drunk on a highway
and was fined $20 and costs. A week
ago Sunday Sheriff Terrill, who made
the arrest, says that he hapiienetl tu
be in Kagle Point when Mayham -and
Wilbur (Wig) Jack came along speed
ing in an auto and shouting, and when
they saw him Mayham jumped tint and
ran away. Wig then speeded up the
machine still faster hut some distance
beyond wrecked it, whoreupon ho was
placed under arrt-st on a careless driv
ing charge, for which ho was fined $L'0
and costs in court. The sheriff only
succeeded in locating Mayham this
week.
