A large ndience is an ticipated. The first luncheon to working women of the city was served this noon at the Christian church by the Methodist church Indies. A mu sical program was put on during the period of serving from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. These luncheons will prove popular bere, no doubt, as they harj in other cities. All working women are invited. No special Invitation Is needed. The women of the Chris tian church serve tbe luncheon to morrow noon. ."' Sophomores gave the other classes of the high school a surprise party at Clyde Hall last Friday evening. A good program of games werp planned and carried out in a diplo matic way which gave spice to this party nntil Ice cream cooled the spir its down for a few minutes neverthe less, appeased ths appetite, which gave the participant a satisfactory feeling.
