light this week when Mrs. Mary Hich
am s round the seal or the Hold Hill
Mercantile company dated 1$!7. The
men who used this seal and who inci
dentally tilled quite a large purge In
tbe history or ibis community were
Cole. Smith, and Kd Williams. Smith
will be remembered as Lord Smith,
who claimed a title in direct descent
fioui the Knglish throne. Williams
died in the quake at Frisco and Cob
has simply faded away. The seal Is
