Sales approximated 450,000 shares. NEW YORK, Mar. 8. All foreign exchange rates In tho local market today were adversely affected by tho failures of tho reparations conference nnd tho invasion of Germany by French troops. Demand bills on London fell to $3.85 V, or nearly five cents from yesterday's final quotation. Tho French rate of $0.99 for de mand bills showed a decline of 20 points. Dutch remittances fell 15 points and the German marks at 1.52 showed a loss of 13 points.
