The final game Friday is ccheduled to be aytd at the .N'atatorium in this city and the tickets will be placed on sale tomorrow morning. The Medford men, nlthouih ciowd ed out of Saturday's game wl:n Ash land by a VI to 20 score, are still going strong anil after they undergo a stiff week's work-out and torislrg practice, local fans may expect a strong rally in the concluding games of the series. The Red and Black boys were unable to ring baskets Saturday although their superior team work placed them continually under their adversaries hoop, and if they brush up on shooting, the Ashland aggre gation will have to go some to hook the series. Although the officials have not been selected by the school authorities Rol Andre, who handled Saturday's game in such a satisfac tory manner, would be a popular se lection with the people of both Mud ford and Ashland. An inquest will be held Saturday to de termine the causo of death of Rob ert Self, lti years old, newspaper car rier of Aloha Station, who was found early Sunday morning shot to death on a bridge over a creek. Although Sheriff Alexander is of the opinion that the boy either accidentally or in tentionally shot himself, the boy's father, ticorge M. Self, declared to day he was convinced the boy was murdered. Title to one of Jacksonville's bis toric spots changed hands the begin ning of the week when Mr. Schmidt purchased the Sisters' Academy and Convent property on California street. During pioneer days this academy was the leading educational Institution of southern Oregon and was largely at tended by young people from all parts of the valley.
