During the five years of our activities they havo consistently shown their unalter able determination to either rule ur ruin the industry. Undoubted ly they hope to stall -off legislation dm lug tlto shoil .-H'sswu ot congress." BE There were two recommendations adopted at tbe forum of the Medford Chamber of Commerce yesterday and should they receive favorable consid eration by the board of directors much good to the community could be ac complished. One recommendation calls for the appointment of a committee to con duct an educational campaign to teach tbe value of time. - This probably would result in having a certain week set aside which would be known as "On Time Week." -During this week ever;y citizen will be expected to meet his engagements promptly. The great thought buck of this movement is to get people to realize that too much time is being wasted and that time, like money, is a. valuable asset. The other recommendation, if adopt ed by the board of directors, would result in the formation .ot. a county wide organization for the preservation of the scenery of Oregon and that of Jackson county In particular along its highways.
