FAIR 10 BE HELD
OFFICERS ELECTED
At a niectinsr of the stockholders
of the Jackson County Fuir As
cinlion held last evening, at the
Chamber of Commerce rooms, it was
decided to hold a fair this lull. Ar
rangements to that end will be per
fected at a meeting of the board of
directors of the fair association which
is to be held very shortly.
The following were elected as the
board of directors : 0. W. Atrer, and
Louis Ulrich of ' Jacksonville; A. N.
Wright of Phoenix: Georirc Owen mid
D. It Lowe of Ashland: It. W. Kldon
of Central I'oint; Fred Ilolliiruiurh
and A. W. Frame of Talent: T. V.
Ilerriott of Applcsato; Horace l'elion
of Sams Valley; George A. Mansfield
of Prospect, nnd the following resi
dents of Medford: S. I. lirown, John
II. Carkin. J. W. Dressier, E. C. Oud
"dis, John A. Mann, Dr. J. L. Helm?.
0. ML Kidd, S. S. "Smith, II. L. Wal
thers and C. C. Cate.
The officers selected were that of
president, II. L. Walther, nnd W. II.
Gore as treasurer, both re-elected.
The selection of vice-presidents and
that of a secretary will be delayed
until the next board meeting. John II.
Carkin is acting secretary, but it
will be impossible for him to sorvj
the organization in that capacity this
yenr.
As the fair will be hold on the
crounds recently purchased by the
county for thut purpose, tho question
of salvaging tho grandstand, and
stock sheds nnd other building was
given consideration and Mr. J. W.
Dressier was appointed a committee
of one to direct the removal of the
buildings from their present location
to that of tho new grounds.
The most optomistic opinions pro
vailed among the stockholders of the
possibility of holding an exceedingly
good fair this fall and thev desire the
co-operation of every resident of the
county to make this one of unusual
interest.

She- Feels Fine Now
Aches and pains often indicate
kidneys out of order. Your kidneys
surely need help and quickly
when your hands and feet are swol
len and you feel dull and sluggish,
lose your appetite and your energy
and there is a puffy look under the
eyes. Mrs. L. Gibson, 12th and Edi

Foley Kidney Pills and they holped
me right away. I feel fine now."
