In portraying the leading charac ter, Miss Anglin hrinKs to her audi ences a picture of emotional strength great depth of understanding, and that rare personal charm which has always distinguished the work of this artist. The story of the play deals with the life of people of today, who must conform to conditions as they exist. In it wo have comedy, brilliant dia logue, and thrilling emotional situa tions. In the working out of t lie life history of three people, we have al most a tragedy, saved only by the heroic sacrifices of one, that a great work may be given to tho world. Surrounding theso central figures, wo find the lesser onos, those who play at life and ono or two genuine friends. Miss Anglin has chosen her com pany with great care and has achiev ed a result which is able and effec tive. Tho setting which is tho work of Livingston Piatt is beautiful and gives the atmosphere of reality which only master hands can create. ALLIES UNITE.
