BLACKSTONE WILL DAZZLE AUDIENCE PAGE FEB'Y 26TH i With the til lc of the "ace of achievement" iu the realm of magic, Blackstone, one of the few of the modern magicians, whose work has aroused the greatest interest will make his first appearance at tiie Pago theatre Thursday night. Fell. 2tith. Blackstcnc Is a master in the art of small magic and has a program comprising over 100 tricks, nearly all of which he Is the originator. For one hour he keeps his audience mys tified by his dexterity, producing from "nowhere" pigeons, doves, rab bits and numerous articles of wearing apparel. In the manipulation of cards ho is conceded to be the world's greatest, and even watching him at close range the spectator is loft mys tified. The early portion of his pro gram arouses the interest of his aud ience for the big illusions and spirit phenomena which follow. He pre sents a levitation act that is said to bo the most daring and bewildering illusion ever shown on a stage. It is called tho lovitatitu of Princess Azrah, and is absolutely new iu prin ciple. This dream in mid-air of the dainty princess surpasses the fabled feats of Aladdiii( and it bears a sem blance to tho miraculous tales of levitation that came out of India. Its perfect represents ten years of pa tient research and study and the ex penditure of many thousands of dol lars. The result of these experiments Is a masterpiece- of magic and the crowning achievement of Hlacli titone's brilliant career. Mrs. C.
