Grand Army of the Republic, and at the time of his death was commander of the Southern Oregon Soldiers and Sail ors. association. He was deputy shorn t ot Sonoma county, California end constable of Suit Point town ship in the same eountv. and was head of police at Teluridc, Col., at differ ent times. He followed mining thru- out Colorado, California and. Oregon, eonung to Mcdford in the early nine lies, since which time he has resided here. In 1002 he was united in mar riage to Mrs. Sarah M.
