He reports the roads in good condition with the ex ception of a few had spots. In his opinion the much-talked about Cow Creek canyon Is a fairly rough piece of road of which the dangers and dif ficulties are extremely over-rated. They were able to drive within half a mile of the hotel at the lake's rim and because of the unusually clear atmosphere had a magnificent view ot the Klamath country.
