The six then went into tho restaurant and despite tho pro tests of employes began to dunce and make much noise. Night Policeman Brownlee saw the bottle Incident and thinking the party hud more booze summoned the other night policeman Ch&s. Adams, and tho two officers searched the car and tho members of the party in the restaurant but found no more. Inasmuch as because pt the broken bottle they had. no evi dence the policeman said that If the men would clean up the broken glass they would let thorn go. The propo sition was quickly accepted and the party got into the car to return to Grants Pass when It was discovered the car's gas tank was empty, hence they remained here until daylight. Brnnnon who were enroute to the river In an Overland car cut the corner and the two autos crashed together. By the force of the collision the Overland car was carried clear over to the left side of the) street by the heavier car. Tho right front fender of the Seattle car was torn off as. was the right front wheel of the Medford car. Each party agreed to pay for his own re pairs and the Marshalls continued on their way south to have their car fixed up later.
