Stonnott ot Modford, was called to Ashland Saturday morning by the death of his father, Charles Stonnott, who passed away as the result of a paralytic stroke. DIED STBNNETT Charles Stennett, a resident of Ashland, died at the homo of his son, W. S. Stennett In Sat city, Saturday morning, Dec. 7, after an illness of three days, duetto stroke ot paralysis which ho suffered some time during Tuesday night while in bed, never recovering con sciousness. He waa born in Edwards county, Illinois, July 27, 1838, nnd was 80 years, four months and 10 days old at the time of his death. At tho age ot 11 years his parents emigrated to Iowa where he was married and resided 55 years, re moving to Ashland 13 yoars ago. He was a veteran of'tho Civil war, hav. ing served more than four years in the 15th Iowa infantry. He leaves three sons, A. F. of Med ford, and W. S. and'L. E. ot Ashland, and a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Stennott ot Atlantic, Iowa; also a brotbor at Stonnett, Iowa, a sister at Lincoln, Nebr., and a sister, Mrs. WW. Din widdle of Gold Hill. Oregon. , The funeral will be held Monday, afternoon at 2:30 at Stock's chapel at Ashland under tho auspices ot the G. A.
