attend tho funeral of Robert L. Vor
blek who died in Pomona, Cal., Oct.
211. He was born Oct. 17, ISiMJ, was
married to Miss Christina Lewis of
Eagle Point. March 10, 1HL8, and
went to California where they lived
until he was called away by (lie mes
senger of deth. He leaves his wife
and hia parents and brothers and sin
ters beside many warm friends to
mourn his early death. He was a
member of tho Knights of Pythias
and the members of that order took
part in tho burial services.
Monday was one of (he quietest
days we have hod in Eagle Point for
