An order granting railroad telegraphers a gen eral wage increase will be issued within a re days by Director Gen eral McAdoo, it was said today at the railroad administration. .The advance is said to average about f'J't a month. After several months of Investiga tion of the telegraphers' requests for a sixty per cent Increase, the board of railroad wages and working con ditions, and advisory body to the director-general has prepared recom mendations, and Is about ready to submit them. .Mr. McAdoo will act immediately on the recommendations Tho men's demand will be met only partially, It was stated. Millions of Americans realized today tha't they had been hoaxed into celebrating the end of the war by publication of the L'nited Press dispatches declaring the armistice signed and fighting ended. Each hour brings" added official evidence tha:t the reports were faise and that the American people were fooled. Not only have prficlal com munications from France to the state department at Washington denounc-l ed the reports as untrue, but the of-! ficial statements of the French and !
