no, 5(i,7!)it. This majority of 3,78(
n gainst adoption was in line with re
turns since early last mtrht, except
for a brief time in the early morning:

ticularly from southern dry districts,

administration was elected at Tues
day's election for the ensuing two
year terra. The only contest was for
recorder In which M. L. Alford, In
cumbent, defeated H. D. Howard by
