She Is abso lutely one of the best speakers to be .offered in the Fourth Liberty. Loan campaign In Oregon. Dr. Lovejoy leaves the coming week for Washington, D. C, where she Is called by the government to make a tour of the eastern states speaking in behalf of the Fourth Lib. erty loan campaign. This will he the only opportunity the people of Hert ford will have to hear Dr. Lovejoy. Bhe will speak In Ashland Sunday afternoon. The management of the Page the atre has domttod the theatre for tin; use of the government for this meet ing. Only one performance will be given by the theatre, yrhlch will be ended at 8 : 1 0, the Liberty loan meet ing beginning promptly at 8:15. At S:10 the doors of the theatre will be opened free to the public. Thoso having secured seats for the pictures will be entitled to retain them for the Liberty loanmeetlng. Efforts will be made to have all the churches dispense with their night services so that all the people can attend the liberty bond meeting. The coming of Dr. Lovejoy . was not expected at this time and is due to the fact that she received orders to begin her eastern speaking tour a week earlier. When o. C. Doggs, chairman of. the Liberty bond speak ers bureau, was apprised by tele graph late yesterday of her coming le had to make hurried arrange ments for tomorrow night's meeting.
