Bert Hooker returned Sunday from Yreka where he went to see J. A. McDonald who fell from a truck last weok and was seriously injured. Mr. McDonald Is still in a critical condi tion, only regaining consciousness a few minutes at a time. The doctor holds out some hope for his recovery. The outlook Is that many Medrord and Ashland Elks and their families will attend tho reunion and picnic ot the Elks of Jackson, Klamath and Siskiyou counties at Klamath Hot Springs, Calif., next Sunday. Tho Medford Elks lodge has selected the following committee on transporta tion for tho picnic: Fred L. Heath, George Hilton, Jr Goorge T. Collins, II. K. Tomllnson and Curl D. Bow man.
