Mrs. Carrie Minkler, of this .city,
is the composer of a war song enti
tled "The Americans nre Coming,"
which was sung for the first time at
the recent War Savings Stamp rally.
Tho meter is akin to that of the
"Hnttle Hymn of the Republic," and
tho wording is imbued with the patri
otic sentiment. This new composition
will soon appear in the form of sheet
music.
Arrangements are being made for
the presentation of "The Mikado," in
the parks on Friday evening, July 5.
