To the People of Medford: The one great thought of the peo ple of Medford should be the winning of the war. There Is only one way to do thi3 and that is to do every thing in our power to assist our gov ernment and our boys who are over there. To do this we must practice economy In our everyday life. The one request from the government which we have not fulfilled Is the purchasing of war saving stamps. In purchasing these stamps we must not consider ft as a charitable act, or as an accommodation, or as a compuls ory act. but as a pleasant privilege of showing our faith in our govern ment and a duty to our boys over there; Start Savings Account. The government is only asking us to start a savings account with them for which they are willing to pay a high rate of Interest. It is the best investment that we can make and at the same time we are helping to pre serve the lives of those most dear to us who are fighting our battles. We wbo stay at home are the chair warm ing soldiers who are allowed to have all the comforts of home and the pleasure of remaining with our fami lies and are not even discommoded physically by the war. Vp to the People. Just stop to consider which is the most desirable sleeping in a trench or a hoie in the ground under contin MAKES RAPID HEADWAY Add This Fact to Your Store of Knowledge Kidney disease often advances so rapidly that many a person is firmly in its grasp before aware of its pro gress. Prompt attention should be given the slightest symptom of kid ney disorder. If there is a dull pain in the back, headaches, dizzy spells or a tired, worn-out feeling, or if the kidney secretions are offensive', irreg-! ular and attended by pain, procure a ' good kidney remedy at once. Your townspeople recommend Doan's Kidney Pills. Read the state ment of this Medford citizen. D. R. Andrus. 510 South Fir street, says: "I was bothered considerably by my kidneys and bladder. I had trouble in retaining the kidney secre tions and I also had a dull ache across my kidneys. I got quick relief j from Doan's Kidney Pills. My kid-j neys acted more regularly and I j didn't have that trouble in my back. This has convinced me that Doan's Kidney Pills are a medicine of merit i and are worth recommending to oth-' ers." Price 60c. at all dealers. Don't j simply ask for a kidney remedy get Doan's Kidney Pills the same that ' Mr. Andrus had. Foster-Milburn Co.. Mfgrs.. Buffalo, X. Y. I I I 11 - . .
