Automobile Notes The total number of motor vehl cles in Great Britain has decreased over 200,000 since the beginning of the war. Motor, cars have decreased nearly 50 per cent. The total num ber of motor vehicles in 1914 was 536,747, divided into 281,174 cars, 233,381 motorcycles and 22,191 trucks. According to the latCBt cen sus the total is 331,897, including 150,249 cars, 160,290 motorcycles, and 21,358 trucks. In addition to selling the popular Dodge cars, the Trelchler-Pelrson Inc., have taken the agency for the famous Oldsmobile cars and the Smith Form-a-Trucks. and have dem onstrators on hand. The newest Is the "Carrie Nation highway," connecting Cullison, Kan., and Cherokee, Okla. The road mark er of this promising trail la the hatchet ot the famous smasher, with the blade painted black and the ban dlo red. The A. W. Walker Auto company received a carload of Chalmers and a carload of Maxwells during the past week, and they are nearly all sold. The old soldiers and sailors of southern Oregon will meet here in annual reunion from September 10 to 15, inclusive.
