Tho judges had a difficult time to decide which display was tho heat, but after careful consideration Miss Mellgan was awarded tho honor. The little girl received quite nn ovation when sho was presented with the prize doll and luter stepped Into an automobile for a ride through the crowds which lined the streets. Tho other contestants were given free tickets for tho various attrac tions at tho carnival and enjoyed themselves thoroughly for tho re mainder of the evening. Judges of the contest were Mrs. C. L.
