are two orders of mind in tills world
those that can put 2 and 2 together
and those that can't. Horn that way,
no doubt.
The principal business of thoso
that can't is to sit around and de
nounce those that can denounce
them and block them and spoil any
plans they may make for the common
good.

NEW YORK, April 25. The Am
erican steamship Mongolia, a vessel of
l3,t;38 tons, owned by the Interna
ttional Mercantile Marine company,
left an American port for London
April 7 on her second trip since
Germany's submarine declaration of
February 1.
The Mongolia carried a crew of
United States navy gunners in charge
of a lieutenant. She is one of the
largest vessels under the American
flag. The Mongolia was built at
Camden, X. J., In 1904, for the Pa
cific Mail Steamship company, and
for a number of years was engaged In
the California-Oriental trade. She
was purchased by the International
Mercantile Marine in 191. and
brought to the Atlantic, carrying
freight only.

Washington and Lincoln schools from
9 to 9:45 a. m. Thursday lectures on
"Poultry Raising" and "Vegetable
Growing' will be given. At the ar
mory Thursday afternoon lectures on
all the former mentioned subjectsj
will be given from 1:30 to 5 o'clock.
The exhibit cars will be open from
9:30 to 11 a-, m., and from 3:30 to
5 p. m. Thursday.

train for Vancouver, Wash., where he
will take examination for the Unit
ed States aviation service. Mr. Hart
enlisted in the aviation branch under
S. II. Kamsny, local recruiting ser

ed rapidly in his company, being ap
pointed second lieutenant a few
week's after his enlistment. lie has
hud extensive military training in pri
vale schools. Hart was accompanied
