The picnic was for the Sunday school
children and their mothers. The
weather was bad but almost the en
tire Bchool turned out and enjdyed a
fine picnic. The young folks played
many rousing games, which nearly
succeeded In bringing down the roof
with merriment. Mr. Short was guest
of honor. At noon a dinner was
served which reflected much credit to
the cooks. The piano and a swing
were much enjoyed. The Sunday
school held an Easter service In the
school house which was fine. A strik
ing feature In the decorations was a
cross made of dafodlls.
