In reply to repeated appeals re ceived from the members of the bas ketball team of the Medford high school, Ted Jewett, captain of the Roseburg high school buskotball team, today wrote a letter to tho former city in which he said the i'.ose burg five would meet the Medford aggregation on March 23 and 24 in tho event the games were played in Iloseburg. The challenge received hero recently from Medford suggest ed that the games be pluyed on a neu tral floor at Kugcne. This request was considered unfair by the Hose burg boys for the reason that the local tcum met the Medford five on the tatter's floor In a series of three games a few weeks ago.
