Invested because of my faith in the

of Medford to adopt the Medynski

tons. I have paid all of my paving !
nmiessmelilK Tills Is n limn when
every citizen of Medford should put
patriotism for his home city above
selfish purposes.
I have been instrumental in bring
ing many people to Bedford and the
valley and secured the Investment of
considerable money within Its
porate limits, but if the Medynski
plan should be adopted, no sane or
thoughtful citizen would consider lo
cating in a city so tax ridden as Med
ford inevitably must bo under the
Medynski plan.
The Hanson plan Is the only business-like
plan to adopt.

Most Dangerous Legislation
Ever Placed Upon the Ballot
To tho People of Mcdfurd:
I t is lit tho request of a nuiiilier of ril iens that 1
nffain express my views of the .Medynski charter
amendment. As I have heretofore said, I have the
highest personal regard for .Mr. Medynski and he
lievo thoroughly in his honesty and good intentions
in again putting this matter before the piiblie. How
ever, T think ol' it just lis 1 did when it was plaeed
upon the hallot before. I regard it as the most dan
gerous piece of municipal legislation upon which we
have ever been required to vote. If a man is in fin
ancial distress, two courses are open to him one is
to get tlie time for the payment of his debts extended
and the other is, bankruptcy. This is the present sit
uation of the city. Its financial condition certainly
could not he great lv helped bv increasing ils indebt

SPELLS DISASTER
STATE PIONEERS
To the People of Medford:
As among the pioneer merchants
of the city of Medford, it has been a
matter of pride with us to live In a
cily that has In the last quarter of
a century increased In population
from one to ten thousand. During
all those years we have been willing
taxpayers and have at all times en
deavored to keep faith In public mut
ters with the people of our adopted
city. We have been and are paying
our assessments from time to time.
In our judgment, for the good peo
ple of Medford to adopt the Medynski
plan spells disaster In every respect.
We cannot expect capitalists to In
vest their money In a debt-ridden
city. The city will be so incumbered
with nil of Its various obligations
that it will be unablo to hold out any
Inducement to nay factory, cannery,
saw mill or other enterprise.
Our appeal Is to vote against the.
Medynski plan and for the Hanson
plan. III'TCIIISO.N & l.CM.SDKN.
